New Project Award – Patuxent River Naval Air Station

P-8A arrival to Naval Air Station Patuxent River

Tuckman-Barbee was awarded a contract to construct the new Building 2896 Integrated Test Team Facility at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The one-story 6,860 square foot facility will be built to conform with Sound Transmission Class (STC) and Radio Frequency (RF) rated secure construction meeting ICD/ICS 705 Controlled Space standards. The building will serve as an avionics and electronics testing laboratory, and includes a high-bay area with oversized door allowing for aircraft cockpit testing. This project is in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington.
