Tuckman-Barbee was awarded a Design-Build project at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland that will repair and upgrade the Large Tow Tank located within Rickover Hall. The tow tank is an 380-foot long by 26-foot wide by 18-foot deep open top, underground concrete tank that is utilized by the Naval Architecture Department. Numerous repairs and upgrades will be completed to include replacement of the skimmer line, replacement of stairs, waterproofing, structural concrete restoration, tank window replacement, painting, and electrical work.
