 New Project Award – NAVFAC Washington

NAVFAC Washington has awarded Tuckman-Barbee Construction Co., Inc. a contract to renovate Building 164 at Navy Support Facility Indian Head, Maryland. The project scope includes reconfiguring the high-bay space and adding structural/floor decks to gain an estimated 7,000SF of additional floor area to meet operational requirements. The total square footage for the work is approximately 14,000SF. The renovation will provide administrative space and circulation, mechanical and electrical closets, and toilet facilities. Administrative spaces will include personnel private offices and cubicles, conference rooms, reception area, toilet rooms, kitchen, finished interior walls, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, and network infrastructure upgrades. Design will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act (ADA/ABA) standards.
