There will be a new 2400 square feet visitors building that will have two functions: 1) The building will welcome new visitors and process them through the security check area to access the interior of the Naval Academy. 2) There will be a pass & tag area for people who need to be processed for ID’’s and vehicle passes. There will be 640 linear feet of new brick faced flood wall with a 3 foot black iron fence on top installed along the area that separates Annapolis from the Academy. A combination of pop up security barriers, bollards, force control planters, turnstile gates and iron swing gates will be incorporated to further secure the Naval Academy.
